Good for a late night meal -- they are open later than most of the Grand Place ringed restaurants (I was seated at 10.20pm and others came in later) -- on a Wednesday night almost everything else in Grand Place area was closing. The cheese croquette appetizer is quite good (and some Yelper has already helpfully taken a photo). I am just going to order two next time. Fries also good. This is a classic Belgian brasserie - I loved it. Afligem on tap. You expect Hemingway to walk in. This restaurant may not change your life, but the service is good and the atmosphere is authentic.
Location is in the middle of Galeries Royales Saint-Hubert. 2 minute walk from Grand Place - one or two blocks away. -

Went here on a food tour in Brussels. I got a steak in pepper sauce which was pretty good and it came with fries (chips? I don't know what they are called in Brussels) the meal was pretty good and I definitely enjoyed it but I wasn't blown away by anything I had. Still a solid food option though.

Came here my 2nd nite in Brussels. While I loved the ambiance I was disappointed with the food. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful but I found the traditional dishes to be quite bland. I tried a chicken dish that had some type of white gravy along with mashed potatoes. Potatoes seem to be a main staple in Belgium .... but I am not big fan of potatoes. The bread was served warm with cold butter and that is truly an unpleasantry in my book.

This is one of the worst places I've ever eaten. Sandy mussels, basic fries, way overpriced. Avoid!

This restaurant was recommended by another that was closing. The crew looked a little tired when we got there at around 10:00 pm but they were great about helping us. We had soup and the Lobster Bisque, both very good. Service was a little rushed as the last of folks file out but we appreciated the good food and late service.
